Desktop

Your library,on your desktop.

Hotshoe Agent is a small always-on app for Mac and Windows — drop a folder in and it uploads itself, or send a batch edit to your own installed Lightroom Classic and let it run overnight.

01

Watched folder

Drop it in. It shows up in your library.

Point the agent at a folder — an SD card import bin, a "to upload" desktop folder, wherever a shoot lands first — and anything dropped in it uploads automatically, resumable if the connection drops, deduplicated so nothing goes up twice. It talks to the same upload endpoint the web app uses, so a file dropped locally behaves exactly like one dragged into the browser: same formats, same processing, same album.

02

Local Lightroom batch edit

A third place batch edit can run: your machine.

Batch edit already runs two ways — in a browser tab, or on Hotshoe’s own servers. This adds a third: pick your own computer, and the job runs through your own installed Adobe Lightroom Classic, applying the same saved preset and exporting the result straight back into the album’s Edited group. Useful when a look depends on a Lightroom-only tool, or when the work should happen on hardware you already trust for it.

macOS may warn the app is from an unidentified developer the first time you open it — right-click the app and choose Open to run it anyway. An Intel Mac build and a Windows build are on the way.
